Zaki was my daughter’s friend many, many years ago. They were the first family who specifically asked me that they not have to pose when I take photos, because that is something they really don’t like.
And really. Because with them, every smile, every laugh, and every tear crawls under your skin. Every moment of their lives is such a strong reality. The strength and optimism I experienced from them is extraordinary. Either is their life. They are special people, I am grateful to know them.
They live their destiny, fighting what they have to do every day – never ceasing to love Life.

Zacharias is different.
As everyone is somehow different. Therefore, everyone requires and deserves individual treatment. And some even more so. Because what is natural to you was not given to him.
Zaki is a highly respected member of the American soccer team in Diósd, Hungary.
For him, sport training is Life, Joy, and Belonging.

These series about Zacharias shows how the world can unfold for someone who otherwise has to exist in a confined space. The professional jury selected my work among the best 20 out of 900 entries. The Photo Competition and the Exhibition was organized by Marie Claire Hungary.
