FujiFilm X. Birthday! Greetings from Hungarian Photographers

 Mea Barath

Visual Storyteller

In September 2010, FujiFilm announced the development of the first FujiFilm X series camera, the X100, at Photokina. This selection of Hungarian photographers’ works made with Fujifilm cameras was prepared for the 10th anniversary.

As an award winning family photographer, and a passionate Fuji user, I am very honored to be included in this birthday greeting!

This photo is one of my series about Lőrincz Szamaras, who lives in the Wilderness with his animals. The Son of Nature series won three awards:

1st prize in International Photography Awards, People Lifestyle, 2020.

1st prize in Budapest International Foto Awards, People Category, 2020.

GOLD winner in Budapest International Foto Awards, People Lifestyle, 2020.

I usually work with families. I like to capture the emotional connections between people who love each other. When I met Lőrincz, he was walking with his horse in the forest, stroking his head and whispering in his ear. I saw the deep connection between them. They looked like a family for me.

Lőrincz has a unique life, he is kind of a Son of Nature. He lives far from the hustle and bustle of the city, in the silence of the forests and fields. It was a pleasure for me to got the opportunity to spend 4 days with him, and get to know this special lifestyle a little bit closer.
